About the Author
Dr. Ranjit “Ranj” Joseph is a compassionate hematologist and oncologist in Raleigh, North Carolina. When he is not with his patients, he can be found reading a good book, training for his next sprint triathlon, tackling biking trails with his friends, or sharing laughter with his two delightful daughters. Inspired by his girls’ joy and curiosity, Ranj penned his debut children’s book, “Because I Love to READ” to encourage the next generation and those young at heart to lead their own exciting adventures and never stop learning and loving.
About the Illustrator
Noor Alshalabi is a Jordan-based illustrator who has been drawing since she first held a pencil. After obtaining her BA in Visual Arts and Design, she pursued her dream of turning her imagination into reality through children’s books. Always with a cup of coffee close at hand, she can be found lost in the pages of a good book, watching movies, bonding with her pet bird, sharing laughter with friends, or going for a hike. Nature is both her wellspring of inspiration and sanctuary for relaxation.
